Hello Blog!

Obviously I did not make a resolution for 2010 to post every day! What can I say - life just gets in the way at times. Most of my computer time at home has been on Facebook cause it's just easier to use in many ways!
So what have I been up to? Shoveling snow. Goodness gracious! Feet of the white stuff! Then again, most of the East Coast and other parts of the country have set snowfall records this year. This was the view from the front porch at 11am Saturday Feb 6. We had another 8 inches after this was taken, and 4 days later had another 10 inches! Schools have been closed since Friday a week ago and now we have a 3 day weekend. This "winter break" was longer than the planned spring break. Let's just hope the state will "forgive" 5 snow days and reduce the required school days total to 175 or the first week of summer vacation will be gone. And the forecast for Monday has that four-letter word in it too!
